Update on the surgery

Thank you all for your prayers and support.  Unfortunately, the surgery was shorter than expected.  It was determined after opening me up that removing the tumor was not going to be the best course of action.  Please continue to pray for peace and understanding as both Kim and I are discouraged and confused.  We will know more once we speak with the surgeon tomorrow.

    Thank you for the update, Brent. We will pray for you all all night. But what? Where is the surgeon? If you have questions, he or she should answer them.

    Love, Nancy

    Brent please know that we are all praying hard for you. Also know that there are some very special people with a “direct line” praying for you. They are survivors. Shannon will share their story with you & Kim when you are ready. Much love to you & Kim. From, Shannon’s mom

  4. Our women’s bible study just finished up our study of Isaiah, and I was encouraged and comforted by the promises of our Lord to His people both then and now. Praying you will have faith to “look to the rock from which you were hewn” who promises comfort for His people. Love you both.

    Isaiah 51 “Listen to me, you who pursue righteousness,
    you who seek the Lord:
    look to the rock from which you were hewn,
    and to the quarry from which you were dug.
    2 Look to Abraham your father
    and to Sarah who bore you;
    for he was but one when I called him,
    that I might bless him and multiply him.
    3 For the Lord comforts Zion;
    he comforts all her waste places
    and makes her wilderness like Eden,
    her desert like the garden of the Lord;
    joy and gladness will be found in her,
    thanksgiving and the voice of song.
