Well folks, the PET scan came back with good news. Well, good news in the fact that I’m clear for surgery. The treatment continues to be effective in suppressing tumor growth, so I’m “stable/improved” everywhere except the area that needs surgery. But even my abdominal disease is pretty stable. So now’s the time to go for clearing out that area.
Thanks for your prayers; we lean on them. Kim and I will now fly home from the Keys on Saturday, then fly back to Houston on Sunday. We’ll be gone the rest of April most likely. Please pray for the surgery, obviously, but also for my kids and Kim’s parents, who’ll be staying with them in our absence.
